Crowds flocked to the Medieval Fair this weekend, enjoying sword fights, costumes and fair food; forgetting to pay attention to the blazing sun that left many participants beet-red at the end of the day. Spring has arrived, and safety officials urge students to apply sunscreen to. Protect their skin from hazardous ultra-violet rays. Former OU student Talia Magrill did not apply any sunscreen before she attended the fair on Saturday.

Friday, January 20, 2012. The LOLCat with a Ball Bat. A couple of years ago I was at a gathering of writers and climate change activists at a retreat center above the Columbia River Gorge. I was participating in the discussion and playing music for the get together. Also participating was a young writer from Montana named Hank Green. Hank runs the blog Ecogeek. org which reviews green technology, and, with his brother John, the website Vlogbrothers. The resulting fame has been fabulous.
